Assessment

We use a variety of tools to evaluate and measure a wide variety of indicators that can tell us a great deal about individuals and their functioning. We prefer a personal approach, using clinical interviews and brief questionnaires to get to know our patients.
Sometimes we need additional information and clarity, and will use standardized tests. In some cases people or organizations have a specific question they need an answer to, and our assessment procedures might be tailored to help us give an opinion based on  information these tests can give us.

We assess individuals for a variety of issues including, but not limited to: psychological disability, personality traits, difficulties in rehabilitation, substance use, post-traumatic stress, mood and anxiety disorders, workplace difficulties, and adult attachment and relationship issues.

Please Note:

We do not assess adults or children for learning disabilities, ADHD, criminal justice proceedings, custody or parental fitness, or risk-management issues. These are areas that fall outside of our specialization. There are listings of other psychologists who do this work on the website of the London Regional Psychological Association.
